STMicroelectronics’ banned, exempted and declarable substances list is regularly reviewed to include regulations and customer requirements and to insure that our suppliers are in line with our rules regarding the use of chemicals and hazardous substances.
STMicroelectronics has adopted the IPC-1752 as the standard for the reporting of declarable substances and material groups. The materials declaration may be applicable for a macropackage, a package or a raw line. Our overall objective is to provide our customers with full material composition based on IPC-1752-2 class 6 declaration format including:
- Item/product information
- Manufacturing process reporting
application
- Terminal base alloy
- Moisture sensitivity
- Reflow cycles
- Detailed materials content of our products
- List of substances by homogeneous material international reference
- Homogeneous material weight (gram and ppm)
- JIG declaration
- RoHS declaration and exemptions
- Nature of compliance of our products to applicable regulations with conformity statements.
To access the material declaration, you can either browse the product tree or enter the commercial part number in the search box. The material declaration document is symbolized by the following icon in the product selector. Adobe Reader® 7.0.5 is required as a minimum to open the IPC-1752-2 PDF forms. Latest versions of Adobe (8.0 and above) are even more recommended for optimized use of the form.
