1.8V INPUT/OUTPUT RAIL TO RAIL OP-AMPS HANDLES BATTERIES ST's 1.8V Op-Amps are well in line with portable equipment requirements such as low consumption, space saving packaging and to Rail to Rail behavior. The Company's TS185x and TS187x families offer single, dual and quad Op-Amps with guaranteed operation at 1.8V to 6V and over an extended temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The TS185x is input and output Rail to Rail (1.75V at Vcc=1.8V, Rl=2kohm), micropower (120µA) and features 580kHz GBP. This device is very well suited for any kind of battery-supplied and portable equipment applications. It is intended for general purpose, very low voltage applications (1.8V), optimized for loads Higher than 2kohm high dynamic stability on capacitive loads with an undistorted output. The TS187x Op-Amp is similar to the TS185x with the added features of higher output current drive (20mA minimum) and speed (1.6MHz). It offers a typical consumption of only 400µA, making it well suitable for battery-supplied and portable equipment applications. Its 1.6MHz GBP fulfills requirements for higher speed. Stability and minimum overshoot with capacitive loads is maintained at 53° of phase margin with 100pF load capacitor. Intended for more demanding low voltage applications where higher GBP and/or output current is required, the TS187x family is designed to drive loads as low as 32ohms and will suit applications such as headphone amplifiers, and cable driving.  |
