ST7540 Product Page
Reduced in size and pin count, the new ST7540 maintains the "core" functionalities of ST7538, without some accessory functions (like the Zero Crossing detection and the uncommitted OpAmp). As new capabilities, it integrates a single ended Power Line Interface with accessible terminals in order to be used as active filter in the signal transmission path, so reducing external components and overall application size and cost. Both 5V and 3.3V regulators are available as well as header recognition and frame length count functions. ST7540 is particularly suitable for very compact, simple and cost effective applications.
