development tools from full-featured development environments
to low-cost starter kits and evaluation boards.
All development kits are designed specifically to help developers
implement the EmberZNet™ software stack
and develop ZigBee based applications.
Two different types of tools are available, either to develop
a ZigBee capable node, or to develop and debug the complete network
traffic and communications between multiple nodes.
Starter and development kits based on the Raisonance
REva kits are low-cost solutions designed to help developers
add ZigBee wireless connectivity to their STM32, STR7, STR9 and ST7
microcontroller- based applications. With the included SN260 module
preprogrammed with the EmberZnet stack, developers can turn a
REva mother board into a wireless application node. The provided
STM32, STR7, STR9 and ST7 ZigBee libraries provide thoroughly tested and documented
sets of functions for integrating wireless functionality into
a microcontroller application. Basic data exchange monitoring
is made available through UART reporting to a host computer. Kits
are available both individually and in sets of two.
The SNDEV and SNPRO kits are
complete, full-featured tool kits with all the hardware and software
to develop a complete network system (hardware for 3 or 8 nodes
depending on the kit ordered). These kits include radio hardware
modules, microcontroller application boards, InSight Adapters,
Ember Insight Desktop development software and xIDE integrated
development environment (SN250 kits only). ZigBee wireless training
with Ember is included with Professional kits.
All kits and each tool in these kits including modules with preprogrammed
SN2x0 devices, Ember InSight Adapters and InSight Desktop software,
can be bought from ST sales offices and distributors.
