 The EVAL6569 will help you to evaluate the L6569. The board has been developed to drive Compact Fluorescent Lamp ballast. It is optimised for a CF18DT/E/830 18W lamp from Osram-Sylvania. This board provides preheat, ignition and normal lamp operation. The preheating is implemented with a 150W Positive Temperature Coefficient thermistor. By changing the connection on the input mains, the ballast can operate either on 120V or on 230V AC mains. To extend the evaluation of the board, some flexibility has been added. The board has two foot prints to mount MOSFETS in two different packages: I-PAK or TO220. And two choke footprints are also avalaible for E1905A and E2006A magnetic cores.
