 This board can be used to develop a single-phase power/energy meter with tamper detection based on the ST7FLITE 8-bit microcontroller. It measures active power, voltage, current, power factor and line frequency in a single-phase distribution environment. All these measured values, together with data and time, are displayed on an LCD screen. Two current transformers (CT) are used to measure active power in both live and neutral wires. This also allows the implementation of an antitampering feature as the meter can continue to measure the active energy even under tamper conditions. |
