STMicroelectronics' Xpander Logic family of devices is
designed to increase the number of I/O ports and enhance
the control and mixed signal capability of existing microcontrollers
and microprocessors. Advantages of the Xpander Logic family
include very small packages, ultra-low power consumption
and flexible interface voltage, making them ideal for
devices such as mobile phones and media players.
Intelligent features offered by Xpander Logic include
a sophisticated matrix keypad controller supporting up
to 96 keys and an advanced PWM controller that is capable
of complex brightness pattern control.
