M48Z32V SO44 PackageThe M48Z32V is a 3.3V 32K x8 NVRAM which offers new versatility for users of battery-backed SRAMs. It comes in a low-profile 44-pin SOIC which provide users with more flexibility in board layout. By moving the battery external to the package, height clearance issues will be a thing of the past for board designers.

Other than the battery connection, the M48Z32V functions just like an ordinary asynchronous SRAM and can be easily connected to just about any microprocessor or microcontroller.
The M48Z32V is intended for 3.3V (±10%) applications, and operates over the commercial temperature range (0 to 70°C). Other features include:
256Kbit (32K x8) "Monolithic" ZEROPOWER® NVRAM
200nA Battery Current (typical @40°C)
Integrated Battery Switchover and Write Protect Circuits
350mil SO44 – Only 0.12" (3.05mm) high
