Very Low Drop Voltage Regulators with Inhibit

 
LD2981 photoHoused in SOT23-5L the LD2981 series of Low Drop Regulators are direct replacements of National's well known LP2981. The ultra low drop-voltage and the ultra low quiescent current make them particularly suitable for low noise, low power applications, and in battery powered systems. Shutdown Logic Control function is available on pin 3 (TTL compatible). This means that when the device is used as a local regulator, it is possible to put a part of the board in standby, decreasing the total power consumption.

Very low quiescent current (less than 1µA when in shutdown mode).
Output current up to 100mA.
Logic-controlled electronic shutdown.
Output voltage of : 2.85V, 3.0V, 3.2V, 3.3V, 3.8V, 4.85V, 5.0V.
Internal current and thermal limit.
Output voltage accuracy 0.75% ("A" version).
Output low noise voltage 160µV RMS.
Only 4.7µF for stability.
Temperature range: -40°C to 125°C.
Smallest package SOT23-5L.
Fast dynamic response to line and load changes.
