 The LFxx regulator series are very low dropout (0.45V) voltage regulators, with very low quiescent current. They can provide an output current up to 500mA and are available in a wide range of output voltages.

These features make LFxx particularly suitable for low noise low power applications and especially in battery powered systems where it is possible to use the inhibit in order to put part of the board in stand-by consequently decreasing the total power consumption. The high temperature range (-40°C to 125°C) and high input voltage protection (40V) also makes it suitable for automotive applications.
