The
introduction of multimedia services in 3G phones is driving the
increase in resolution of graphics displays and cameras. The interfaces
between displays or camera modules and the base module or multimedia
processor, through the flex cable, become tough cabling constraints,
and EMI becomes a key concern.
The most common solution to support such increase of resolutions
is to implement high speed display serial interfaces (DSI) between
the base module and camera or display modules.
To protect the serial bus against ESD surges, the DSILC6-4xx, featured
with low line capacitance ESD protection, is tailored for high-bandwidth
display and camera serial interfaces.
