System-on-Chip Solutions - ADVANTIS

The Advantis platform

ST works in partnership with SERMEPA (SERvicios para MEdios de PAgo) to develop ADVANTIS, a family of System-on-Chip products to process a financial transaction with a multi-application smartcard. The Advantis solution includes three programs that are interoperable and can be combined to fit the needs of a specific financial market.

Advantis programs comply with the EMV 3.1.1 and EMV 4.0 specifications for credit/debit, contain an e-purse and are built on an OS that allows multi-application.

The basic product for a fluent migration to EMV is Advantis (formerly known as TIBC 3.0).
bullet A more advanced 18KB EEPROM DDA version, Advantis Crypto, is available for combined banking and identification applications, PKI cryptography for digital signature applications.
bullet The dual interface Advantis product is available for any secure contactless application in transit and banking.
 
Software tools

A comprehensive set of software tools are available to support the issuers at each step of the card production process.

Advantis Explorer to browse through the risk management parameters of the EMV application and enhance the management of the card profiles.
bullet Personalization files creation module to facilitate the generation of the input files for the card personalization process.
bullet Personalization equipment software interface to reduce card production setup cost, software modules are available for various personalization machines.
bullet Advantis Easy PKI to take full advantage of Advantis Crypto public key functions. This module offers an integrated interface to manage PKI certificates and create digital signature applications (CSP and PKCS#11).
