STMicroelectronics has developed this simulation tool
for designing flyback converters using L6590x devices. They are monolithic
switching regulators designed in BCD OFF-LINE technology, able to
operate with a wide range input voltage and to deliver up to 15 W
output power. The internal power switch is a lateral power
MOSFET ( typical RDS(on) = 13, V(BR)DSS = 700V
minimum).
The Design is optimized for DCM (Discontinuous Current Mode) operation. |
